Notes
Notes
- This is the version currently in use for all of our courses but will be moved to a retired status when Brain 4 is released.
- As a retired version, developers may make bug fixes if required but will not actively develop new features.
Brain 2/2.5
Brain 2/2.5
1996* - 2010
Status: Dead (Support, No Maintenance, No Development)
Development Language: ActionScript 2
Backwards Compatibility: N/A
Notes
Notes
- This version is officially dead; there are no benefits for its use that are not outweighed by the cost of supporting it (note - Telus language switching courses are the only exception)
- No course should be developed using brain 2 or 2.5 going forward.
- Old courses that come back for updates should be migrated to brain 3, as the conversion takes about a day, but saves many days in support going forward.
