Network Shares are shared resources on the ICOM network for file storage.

Primary storage ~ icomnt13

  • Y: Drive
    • Usage: Project files for the Content Design team
    • Map Letter: Y:\
    • UNC Path: \\icomnt13\Y_Drive
    • Backup:
      • Shadow Copy
      • Nightly Cloud backup

Mapping Network Drives

ICOM's domain pushes out Drive maps via Group Policies. For sustainability, they should be used for mapping as much as possible but if they need to be applied manually a batch file can be used:

\\icom.lan\sysvol\icom.lan\scripts\

Mapped Drives ~ Global

Copy-paste this into the address bar of Windows Explorer:

\\icom.lan\sysvol\icom.lan\scripts\Mapped_drives_global.bat

Click "Run"

Respond "Y":

Mapped Drives ~ Specialty

Copy-paste this into the address bar of Windows Explorer:

\\icom.lan\sysvol\icom.lan\scripts\Mapped_drives_specialty.bat


Follow the prompts as above for Global.

Copy-paste this into the address bar of Windows Explorer:
