FiLMS
FiLMS, or Fully Integrated Learning Management System, formerly Flash Integrated Learning Management System, is a web-based application built by ICOM for use by clients that wish to manage the e-Learning of their users.

Daily CRONs
FiLMS utilizes nightly jobs called by the CRON jobs of a Linux server. They typically start around 2:30 am Mountain, generally end around 3:30 am but can run until 5 am depending upon server load. These jobs don't respect Daylight savings. Examples of modules using nightly jobs include:
FM_AutoBulkUserImporter
FM_ReportUploader
Earned certificates
When Certificates in FiLMS expire the enrollment that allowed the user to earn that certificate is restarted. A restart inactivates the enrollment then creates a fresh enrollment for the same Curriculum with a status of Not Attempted.
For systems using the optional module FM_CertificateSyncToEnrollments, earned certificate issue dates sync with the completion date of their oldest enrollment.
Generating Earned Certificates
There are 3 ways of generating new earned certificates:
Daily CRON
FiLMS generate new earned certificates as a batch nightly. It checks if the learners have met the completion requirements before generating earned certificates for them.
List Earned Certificates
Users visiting their own page will trigger FiLMS to generate earned certificates for themselves
Earn Missing Certificates
Top menu: Education > Earned Certificates > Earn Missing Certificates (left sidebar)
Admins can click Earn Missing Certificates to update all Earned Certificates
