FM_EnrollmentWizardWithoutEvent

Overview

FM_EnrollmentWizardWithoutEvent is a FiLMS module that does a quick enrollment for a organization / groups consisted of large amount of users (i.e. contractors). It is also serves as an alternative when the Enrollment Wizard or FM_AutoEnroll either takes too long or fails when attempting to enroll users. It is meant to replace this solution.

Installation & Configuration

This module has to be installed globally.

Usage

You must be a System Admin in order to use this feature. To access this, there is a link to the module (called "Enrollment Wizard without Event")located at left sidebar of List Enrollments (Education->Enrollment). If that link cannot be found, make sure that:

• you are logged in as role in System Admin
• you have permission to add enrollments, organization course catalog, group structure catalog, and FmAutoEnrollAssn (if FM_AutoEnroll is installed)

The layout of the page is almost similar to Report Builder. You select the organizations / groups and curriculums, and click Enroll to enroll. A message will appear if enrollment is successful.

The enrollment wizard will do the following:

• Add the curriculum's course to the organization course catalog
• Add the curriculum's structure, along with "All Users" group, to the group structure catalog
• Include the curriculums to group auto-enrollment, if the module FM_AutoEnroll is installed
• Enroll active users to the curriculum. It will ignore if the user(s) has active enrollment of the curriculums.

Notes

• If you check the organization, the system will grab the 'All users' group from that organization.
• There won't be any event trigger during enrolling the users. It simply enrolls the users.
