Hi Natalie,

It took a little while as there were some concerns with regards to security while the Developers were compiling this information. That being said, here is a list of items that will block a 3rd party course from being uploaded

  • Certain File Extensions, Namely:
    • .exe
    • .msi
    • .com
  • File Mime Type (usually inferred from File Extension, but can be explicitly stated):
    • Binary (usually data which could contain code)
  • File Size:
    • Configured per upload type.
  • File Names:
    • Third Party Lessons (SCORM, TinCan, AICC) files cannot contain:
      • '
      • +
      • \
      • <
      • >
      • /
      • :
      • ?
      • *

In the case of this course it appears to contain a number of .exe files, as well as .Java which can also be a concern.
