Factory reset

1a - If you know the admin password of the phone, press and hold 1 3 and 5 simultaneously while on the main screen until prompted for a password and press ok. When the phone is done rebooting, you can skip to the “Provisioning” section.

1b - If you do not know the admin password, please reboot your phone.

2 - Press Cancel on the “Starting Application” screen.

3 - On the Welcome screen, press and hold 1 3 and 5 simultaneously until prompted for a password.

4 - Enter the mac address (number starting with 6416 or 0004), found on the back of the phone. Make sure you enter it in lower case and press ok.

5 - The phone will now be factory resetting.

Provisioning

1 - Reboot your phone and press Cancel when on the “Starting Application” screen.

2 - On the Welcome screen, press Setup and enter 456 for the password. If this doesn’t work, the phone did not factory reset properly. Please repeat the “Factory Reset” section.

Important: Look at the picture on your screen. It will tell you to use the headset button for up, the speaker button for down, the volume down for left, the volume up for right and finally the mute button for select. In the instructions below refer to this when we say up, down, left, right or select.

3 - Select the Provisioning server menu.

4 - Select the DHCP menu.

5 - Edit the Boot server and press the right arrow key until you see “static”. Press ok to confirm.

6 - Press Exit.

7 - Edit server type and use the right arrow to select HTTP and press ok.

8 - Edit the Server address and type p.versature.com/cfg all in lower case and press ok when done.

9 - Edit the Server user and hit the left arrow to erase the content and press ok.

10 - Edit the Server password and hit the left arrow to erase the content and press ok.

11 - Select Exit twice and select Save & Reboot.

Polycom IP 5000/7000

Factory reset

1a - If you know the admin password of the phone, press and hold 1 3 5 and 7 simultaneously while on the main screen until prompted for a password and press ok. When the phone is done rebooting, you can skip to the “Provisioning” section.

2 - Press Cancel on the “Starting Application” screen.

3 - On the Welcome screen, press and hold 1 3 5 and 7 simultaneously until prompted for a password.

4 - Enter the mac address (number starting with 0004), found on the back of the phone. Make sure you enter it in lower case and press ok.

5 - The phone will now be factory resetting.

Provisioning
