Seaspan
Seaspan is an ICOM client that uses both the Oracle Taleo Cloud Service application and FiLMS for course hosting. A link is available in "Learn" that permits users to SSO login into FiLMS. FiLMS instance for their Shipyard & Marine courses:

They have ICOM Flash & Storyline courses. Oracle successfully tested a test package in their LMS.
Users
Marine users will have iPads with access to Learn so they will SSO into FiLMS through that. They will also have email addresses.

Seaspan has a custom FiLMS Home page.

The login first authenticates user credentials against the Seaspan Social authentication provider. It then falls back to authenticating against FiLMS logins.

Our service only authenticates active directory users and users defined in the Seaspan Social authentication provider. This is the same as saying: if they can login to Seaport with these credentials, they should be able to login to FiLMS with them. It is not able to authenticate users against Learn.

User’s do not sign into Learn directly, but access it via the SharePoint page called Seaport. They are, however, asked to create a password when first setting up Learn, but that password is never actually used, really just a formality as they always access it via Seaport which uses their network credentials.

Administration
User Management:
If users forget their login credentials, we won't be able to change it for them. FiLMS rely on the Seaspan API to grab users from their system. They will have to contact their tech support.

Restrictions
Restrictions like pre-requisites are built into the UI for the home page. FiLMS restrictions will cause course launch attempts to silently error out and redirect to the splash page.
